Petrobras has expressed interest in exploration blocks located in offshore areas of the Keta Basin, in Ghana.
Ghana's Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has approved the application for negotiation of exploration contracts in four blocks. With this approval, Petrobras enters the direct negotiation phase of the exploration contract terms.
This initiative aligns with Petrobras' strategy of replenishing oil and gas reserves through the exploration of new frontiers, both in Brazil and abroad, as outlined in its Business Plan. The evaluation of new opportunities aims to diversify the company's exploration portfolio, promoting value creation and the long-term sustainability of its business.
