Woodside has issued a statement on Myanmar. The Company said it condemns human rights violations. and that reports of violence against the Myanmar people participating in peaceful protests are deeply distressing. The Company said it was reducing its presence in country and expects full de-mobilisation of its offshore exploration drilling team over the coming weeks.

||Myanmar: PETRONAS enters Myanmar's gas market with first LNG cargo delivery
PETRONAS through its subsidiary, PETRONAS LNG (PLL), recently completed its maiden delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Yangon, Myanmar, with two LNG cargoes delivered in May and June 2020. The delivery of the two LNG cargoes is part of a Master Sale and Purchase Agreement between PLL and CNTIC VPower that was signed in early 2020.

||Myanmar: Woodside's A-6 Development offshore Myanmar moves to the pre-FEED phase
Woodside has advised that the A-6 Development offshore Myanmar has moved from the exploration and appraisal phase to the pre-front-end engineering design (pre-FEED) phase. The development, located in Block A-6 within Woodside’s Southern Hub, is being progressed alongside joint venture participants MPRL E&P and Total E&P Myanmar.
