||Poland: PGE and Orsted close JV agreement for Polish offshore wind projects
With the closing of the agreement, which was first announced on 10 February 2021, PGE and Ørsted now each own 50% of the shares in the offshore wind projects Baltica 2 and Baltica 3, together comprising the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm, the largest offshore wind project in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea.

||Poland: Equinor acquires Polish renewables company Wento and its 1.6-gigawatt solar project pipeline
Equinor has completed an agreement to buy 100% of the shares in Polish onshore renewables developer Wento from the private equity firm Enterprise Investors for EUR 91 million. ||Poland: Breakthrough for Equinor in Polish offshore wind
Poland’s Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) has announced that Equinor and Polenergia’s Baltyk II and Baltyk III projects were awarded contracts for difference (CfD) under the first phase of Poland’s offshore wind development scheme. The projects, with a combined potential capacity of 1440 MW, are among the first to secure offshore wind awards in Poland.

||Poland awards Contract for Difference to the Baltica offshore wind farms
The Polish Energy Regulatory Office has awarded a Contract for Difference to the Baltica 3 and Baltica 2 offshore wind farms with a total capacity of up to 2.5 GW. Baltica 3 and 2 will contribute significantly to Poland’s green energy transition, accelerate the development of the local supply chain and spur economic activity for many years to come.

||Poland: Orsted and PGE form 50-50 joint venture on Baltica 2 and 3
Ørsted and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna (‘PGE’) have signed an agreement to form a 50/50 joint venture for the development, construction and operation of two offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea with a total potential capacity of up to 2.5 GW. Both projects are eligible to be included in Poland’s 2021 offshore wind allocation round.
