Poland: Polenergia and Equinor take another important step in the development of the Baltic 1 project
Polenergia and Equinor are jointly implementing the Baltic 1 offshore wind farm project, which is the largest wind farm in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. The project, with a capacity of up to 1560 MW, is being prepared to participate in an auction in 2025.

Poland: Baltic Power wind farm completes first onshore connection
Baltic Power is one of the first projects in the world to install 15 MW wind turbines and the first in the world to have a significant portion of its turbine towers made of low-carbon steel. With completion in 2026, Baltic Power will be the first Polish offshore wind farm operating in the Baltic Sea.

Poland: Prospex Energy to expand into Poland
Prospex Energy, the AIM quoted investment company focused on European gas and power projects, has qualified to apply for onshore open acreage hydrocarbon exploration licences in Poland. The Company expects to be granted licences by Q1 2025.

Cadeler signs contracts with Equinor and Polenergia JVs for wind farms in the Polish Baltic Sea
Cadeler has signed firm contracts with the offshore wind farms Baltyk 2 and Baltyk 3, both being joint venture projects owned 50% by Equinor and 50% by Polenergia. The total potential value of these contracts to Cadeler is expected to be in the range of EUR 120-144 million, with operations scheduled to begin in 2027.
