Cyprus: Eni confirms the extension and excellent well deliverability of Cronos gas discovery offshore Cyprus Eni has announced the successful completion of the Cronos-2 well, drilled to appraise the Cronos discovery in Block 6, offshore Cyprus, in August 2022. The production test allowed for the estimation of a well production capacity in excess of 150 MMSCFD in production configuration and is instrumental in progressing with the studies to select the best fast-track development option. |

NewMed Energy reports further progress towards development of Aphrodite discovery in Cyprus NewMed Energy reports that the partners in the Aphrodite reservoir (NewMed Energy, Chevron, Shell) have submitted an updated plan for development of the reservoir for the Cypriot government’s approval. Production and processing of the natural gas from the reservoir will be carried out via a subsea pipeline which will be connected to an existing processing and production facility in Egypt. |

Cyprus: BorchWix Energy Advisors win Service Contract for the provision of Subsurface Advisory Services to Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company BorchWix Energy Advisors have announced the award of a two-year contract for the provision of Oil and Gas Subsurface Advisory services to Cyprus Hydrocarbon Company. The award follows the BWEA led Consortium winning an open competitive tender procedure. BWEA will be working with Consortium partner company Badley Ashton & Associates to deliver the wide-ranging contract scope which covers exploration, appraisal, and field development activities. |

Cyprus: Eni and TotalEnergies make another gas discovery offshore Cyprus Eni and partner TotalEnergies have announced a new gas discovery offshore Cyprus with the well Zeus-1, drilled in Block 6. The well encountered 105 meters of net gas pay in a carbonate reservoir sequence. The gas in place associated to this reservoir is preliminarily estimated between 2 and 3 TCF. |
