Cyprus: BorchWix Energy Advisors awarded another Service Contract for the provision of Subsurface Advisory Services to Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company BorchWix Energy Advisors (BWEA) have announced the award of a three-year contract for the provision of Oil and Gas Subsurface Advisory services to Cyprus Hydrocarbon Company (‘CHC’). Cyprus: Eni confirms the extension and excellent well deliverability of Cronos gas discovery offshore Cyprus Eni has announced the successful completion of the Cronos-2 well, drilled to appraise the Cronos discovery in Block 6, offshore Cyprus, in August 2022. The production test allowed for the estimation of a well production capacity in excess of 150 MMSCFD in production configuration and is instrumental in progressing with the studies to select the best fast-track development option. |

NewMed Energy reports further progress towards development of Aphrodite discovery in Cyprus NewMed Energy reports that the partners in the Aphrodite reservoir (NewMed Energy, Chevron, Shell) have submitted an updated plan for development of the reservoir for the Cypriot government’s approval. Production and processing of the natural gas from the reservoir will be carried out via a subsea pipeline which will be connected to an existing processing and production facility in Egypt. |
