Woodside and CPC sign agreement for long-term LNG supply
Woodside has signed a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with CPC, Taiwan’s state-owned oil and gas company, for the long-term supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Taiwan. Under the SPA, Woodside will supply approximately 6 million tonnes of LNG on a delivered basis over 10 years, commencing in July 2024.

Jumbo Offshore has completed the removal of two monopiles on the Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) Yunlin in Taiwan. The Company carried out the work whilst deploying its DP2 Heavy Lift Crane Vessel Fairplayer from Europe to support the onsite operations.

Taiwan: UTEC strengthens presence in Taiwan’s offshore renewables market
UTEC, a brand in marine energy and infrastructure services company Acteon, has been awarded an offshore survey and positioning contract for the Taiwan Power Company (TPC) Phase 2 wind farm project offshore Taiwan. The contract further reinforces UTEC’s foothold in Taiwan building on its initial entry in 2019.

Taiwan: Ørsted inaugurates the Asia-Pacific region’s largest offshore wind farms
Ørsted has announced the inauguration of the Greater Changhua 1 and 2a offshore wind farms in Taiwan. With a total installed capacity of 900 MW, the two offshore wind farms are in operation and fully connected to the grid, making them the largest of their kind in Taiwan and in the Asia-Pacific region.
