Perigus Energy has acquired the rights to the Olpe-Rehringhausen wind farm project from ABO Energy. The two project developers signed a corresponding agreement. Perigus Energy, headquartered in Regensburg with a branch in Essen, will now be responsible for the further implementation of the project.
Planning for the wind farm is already well advanced: On March 26, 2026, the Olpe district (North Rhine-Westphalia) granted approval for the construction and operation of three wind turbines, each with a capacity of seven megawatts. They are located in a designated priority wind energy area in the Rother Stein forest near the B55 federal highway.
Perigus Energy is developing the Windfart wind farm just three kilometers east of the Olpe-Rehringhausen wind farm. The close proximity of both projects creates valuable synergies and supports efficient planning, implementation, and subsequent operation of the wind farms.
