STRYDE, a leading provider of land seismic acquisition technology, has secured a new agreement to supply 12,000 of its Range+ seismic nodes and a STRYDE Nimble Seismic Acquisition System to PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), an Indonesian inspection and survey services company providing geological, geophysical and seismic services to the country’s oil and gas sector.
This latest deployment in Indonesia reflects growing adoption of lightweight nodal technology in the region, where seismic crews often operate across dense jungle, heavy vegetation and areas with limited access.
Mr. Mula Vidya Kusuma, Senior Manager, at PT SUCOFINDO, said:

The 12,000 nodes will be supported by STRYDE's Nimble Seismic Acquisition System, which is designed to manage large node inventories efficiently in the field. The system enables rapid data harvesting, charging and preparation for redeployment, helping crews keep nodes moving through the acquisition cycle while reducing handling, logistics and operational bottlenecks.
One of STRYDE’s dedicated field support geophysicists for Southeast Asia will be on site to support system start-up and provide user training to SUCOFINDO’s team. The system’s intuitive workflow will enable a short on-site support period and a smooth transition to independent use, with remote assistance available throughout the survey whenever required.

The agreement strengthens STRYDE's presence in Southeast Asia and adds to a growing global portfolio spanning oil and gas, geothermal, carbon capture and storage, mining, civil engineering and scientific research.
STRYDE technology has now been deployed on more than 450 seismic surveys across 65 countries, with over 1.3 million nodes delivered between 2020 and 2026. By reducing the equipment, logistics and personnel traditionally associated with increasing receiver density, STRYDE is helping make high-density seismic acquisition more operationally and commercially accessible.
