Greenvolt Group, though Greenvolt Power, has strategically selected Entrix, a European leader in trading flexible energy systems, as its exclusive partner to manage the multi-market optimization of its battery storage assets, ensuring both technical performance and market value.

With a probability weighted pipeline of 13.2 GW, of which over 4.3 GW are dedicated to energy storage, Greenvolt Power continues to scale its impact as a driving force in the continent’s energy transition.

In Poland, where Greenvolt has operated for over 18 years, its utility-scale pipeline includes 730 MW of wind power, 1,878 MW of solar PV, and 2,712 MW of battery storage capacity, consolidating its position as one of the leading renewable energy developers both nationally and across Europe.

'Battery storage is an essential part of Greenvolt Group’s growth, and our continued investment has already placed us among the largest developers in Europe. We are focused on building projects that deliver maximum performance, and this partnership reinforces that commitment', said João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group.

Entrix will bring its advanced optimization and trading capabilities to maximize the value of Greenvolt’s battery assets. Under the multi-year agreement, Entrix’s AI-driven trading solution will manage optimization across all relevant energy markets, including balancing services such as Frequency Containment Reserve (FCR) and Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR), as well as day-ahead and intraday trading. These services play a critical role in grid stability and flexibility, and their integration ensures both high technical performance and strong market competitiveness, unlocking the full value of Greenvolt’s storage portfolio.

Entrix’s proprietary and proven trading performance positions the company as a key partner for value optimization in this evolving landscape. With the addition of the Polish portfolio, the company manages over 2 GW and 7 GWh of BESS capacity in Europe – marking this as a decisive step in the company’s European expansion strategy.

'This agreement expands our operational footprint in Poland and enables us to actively shape one of Europe’s fastest-growing BESS markets,' said Steffen Schülzchen, founder and CEO of Entrix. 'As a pioneer in the Polish battery market, we can engage with future asset owners early on, begin prequalification, and accelerate the path to go-live and revenue capture – especially in the ancillary services.'

Recent capacity market auctions have underlined the strategic role of BESS as new generation capacity units in Poland. With renewables gaining momentum and flexibility becoming a key pillar of the market, the country is emerging as one of the most dynamic BESS growth markets in Europe.

'Battery storage is a strategic pillar of our long-term growth and flexibility strategy,' said Radek Nowak, CEO of Greenvolt Power. 'Our approach is built on deep technological expertise, market intelligence, and the agility to respond to evolving energy needs. By investing in large-scale storage and choosing the right partners, we are positioning Greenvolt Power as a European leader in this segment, driving innovation, resilience, and value across our portfolio'.

This partnership represents a strategic step toward strengthening energy flexibility and accelerating the European energy transition. By combining Greenvolt’s leadership in renewable project development with Entrix’s proven expertise in optimization, the collaboration sets new standards for large-scale battery storage in Poland and beyond.
