- Six-year PPAs for electricity totalling 219 MWp
- Estimated start of energy delivery in 2028
- PPAs aim to provide long-term price stability while contributing to the decarbonization of Polish energy system

Uniper and Respect Energy sign six-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for electricity and Guarantees of Origin (GoO) generated from Uniper’s four new photovoltaic (PV) assets in Poland, with a combined capacity of 219 MWp. The agreement marks a significant step in both companies’ ambitions to support the transformation of the Polish energy system and to advance Europe’s transition toward renewable energies.
The contracted solar projects Pakosc, Klodawa, Domanowo, and Krotoszyce form part of Uniper’s broader renewables expansion, following the company’s investment decision in December 2025 to develop another five solar projects in Poland and the United Kingdom, amounting to around 288 MWp.
Through the new PPAs, Respect Energy will purchase renewable electricity from Uniper’s Polish solar sites, enabling the company to strengthen its position as a leading clean electricity trader in Central and Eastern Europe.
This cooperation underscores the growing importance of PPAs in enabling renewable energy deployment across Europe - providing investment certainty for asset developers while offering reliable green power to offtakers.
'This agreement demonstrates how we consistently aim to implement our transformation strategy and further extend our renewable energy footprint across Europe. The four Polish solar projects will directly contribute to decarbonizing the national energy system while strengthening Uniper’s role in delivering reliable, clean power. Partnerships like this accelerate the energy transition and provide stability to the market,' said Iulia Tica, CEO Uniper Renewables.
'Respect Energy is proud to partner with Uniper on this long-term agreement supporting Poland’s renewable energy ambitions. Securing green electricity from these four solar sites strengthens our supply portfolio and helps our customers access competitively priced clean power. Together with Uniper, we are contributing to Europe’s broader climate and energy security objectives.' said Lukasz Jankowski, Head of Origination at Respect Energy.
