ARB Wind has opened a new head office in Glenrothes, marking the latest stage in the company's growth as it expands its support for wind farm owners and operators across the UK.

The move sees the Fife-based business establish a larger operational base to support its growing workforce and increasing portfolio of work across both offshore and onshore wind projects.

Part of the Briggs Marine Group since 2021, ARB Wind has evolved from its foundations in statutory inspection services into a specialist provider of asset integrity and technical services, supporting wind assets throughout their operational lifecycle.

Delivering Asset Integrity and Technical Services Across the UK

Today, the company works with asset owners, operators and principal contractors across the renewable energy sector, delivering services ranging from inspection, maintenance and repair through to balance of plant support, technical resource provision and client representation.

The new headquarters at Scotia House in Glenrothes will provide a central hub for the company's engineering, commercial and operational teams, complementing its presence in Montrose and strengthening its ability to support projects throughout Scotland and the wider UK.

The investment reflects continued growth in demand for specialist expertise as the UK's wind fleet matures and asset owners increasingly focus on maximising performance, reliability and long-term asset value.

Arran Bell, Managing Director of ARB Wind, said:

'Opening our new head office in Glenrothes is an important step for ARB WIND and gives us a strong base for the next stage of the company's growth.

As the wind industry continues to mature, there is an increasing need for specialist partners who can support assets throughout their operational life, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and productive.

Since joining the Briggs Marine Group, we have continued to broaden our capabilities, grow our team and expand the range of technical services we provide to clients across both offshore and onshore wind.

Glenrothes gives us a fantastic base from which to continue that journey. As a business with strong roots in Fife, it was important that our growth continued to deliver investment within the local area while allowing us to support projects throughout the UK.'

Investing in Scotland's Renewable Energy Supply Chain

ARB Wind's continued expansion comes at a time when policymakers and developers are placing increased emphasis on local content and supply chain capability, with businesses across Scotland playing an increasingly important role in supporting the delivery and long-term operation of renewable energy infrastructure.

From its bases in Glenrothes, Burntisland and Montrose, ARB Wind now supports projects throughout the UK, providing specialist asset integrity and technical services that help owners and operators maintain critical renewable energy assets safely and efficiently.
