ASCO to support Petrofac with specialist HR emergency response in the North East of England

Global integrated logistics and materials management specialist, ASCO, has been awarded an agreement to support Petrofac’s emergency response provision in the North East of England, providing specialist HR emergency management, including meet and greet capability from the Port of Tyne, in the UK. The agreement with Petrofac commenced last year.

As part of the agreement, ASCO will be available 24/7 to supplement Petrofac's existing emergency support teams in the event of an unexpected emergency situation, including medical or compassionate requirements for Petrofac’s clients’ crew members requiring immediate evacuation.

Ryan McMahon, Business Development & Operations Manager at ASCO, said: 'We are incredibly proud to be working in partnership with Petrofac ensuring the well-being of their clients’ crew members during emergency situations. Our priority is to ensure everyone receives the care they require to get home or return to the vessel or platform safely and efficiently, whilst keeping all stakeholders constantly informed.'

Neil Fraser, Regional Manager Emergency Response and Crisis Management (Europe) at Petrofac, said: 'We are delighted to expand our relationship with ASCO and strengthen our existing emergency response and crisis management service provision to our clients’ crew members in the North-East of England. This contract marks the latest in a series of joint ventures with ASCO, enabling us to provide targeted and specialised HR emergency management support across the UK and internationally.'
