Award-winning safety engineer, author, and international speaker, Dr Mark McBride-Wright, MBE, will provide the keynote speech at OEUK’s 2026 Health, Safety and Environment Conference which takes place at P&J Live in Aberdeen on February 25.

Dr McBride-Wright is Founder and CEO of EqualEngineers and renowned for his work specialising in inclusive safety leadership. Together with major organisations across high-hazard sectors, he works to create cultures where every individual feels safe to speak up, contribute and thrive.
Named on the Financial Times’ Future LGBT Leaders list and appointed MBE for services to diversity in engineering, Mark’s mission is to make workplaces safer, fairer, and more human. He is the host of The SAFE Leader Podcast, sharing stories and practical insights on the future of leadership. At OEUK’s conference, he will speak on the topic of: ‘A new tide of trust: inspiring safer and stronger offshore cultures.’
