The North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) has published its approach to applications for consent to a transfer of a carbon dioxide appraisal and storage licence, or change of control of a corporate entity.

This approach provides clarity to licensees on how the NSTA will consider transactions, thereby supporting the growing carbon storage industry, contributing to a stable and predictable system of regulation.

The NSTA’s approach can be found here.
