Dana Petroleum has exercised a contract extension with Island Drilling for the Island Innovator to work in the UK
Island Drilling announced that the optional work with Dana Petroleum (E&P), which was included in the contract signed in October, has been exercised.
Island Drilling signed a contract with Dana Petroleum (E&P) in October 2022 to provide the Island Innovator drilling unit and associated services for a work program in the UK in 2023. The work was for 3 firm and 1 optional well. The firm work was estimated to 80 days and the optional work was estimated to be 30 days.
The work is planned to commence in April 2023 and the total contract value is estimated to be 30 MUSD.
