Odfjell Technology (UK) has announced that a major North Sea Operator has signed a Letter of Intent to exercise its remaining two-year option under the contract for the provision of comprehensive drilling services on a North Sea platform. In addition, the operator has extended the contract with an additional two-year option.
The scope of services includes managing operations, maintenance and repairs for both the main rig drilling facility and an intervention completion unit.
Odfjell Technology has supported this asset under the contract since 2019, and this remains one of the largest integrated operations we perform. With the exercise of this option, the firm period of the contract is extended to November 2028, with a further two-year option included after that.
