Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has announced its first Business Breakfast of the year, to be held on Tuesday, March 26 at the P&J Live in Aberdeen.

Sponsored by Deloitte, the event will launch OEUK’s Business Outlook 2024: Activity & Supply Chain report. The launch of this annual report is a landmark event for the whole energy sector, offering a look back over the previous year plus the latest industry insights and predictions for the year ahead.

The report will also be launched at Roadshows in Durham in partnership with NOF, London on March 27, and Lowestoft, in partnership with EEEGR, on March 28.

This year’s report will reveal the key business opportunities for supply chain companies across the country – highlighting where UK manufacturers already have the key strengths and expertise to scale up solutions like offshore wind, hydrogen, and carbon capture.

More than 300 guests from across the offshore energy industry will gather, with the keynote speech to be given by David Whitehouse, OEUK’s chief executive. Ross Dornan, OEUK’s Market Intelligence Manager and author of the Business Outlook report, will set out its key findings.

Ross Dornan said: 'This year’s business breakfast comes at a crucial time for our industry. The choices made this year by our politicians will be felt for decades to come.

'The UK offshore energy sector can create a secure, skilled, and sustainable future. To unleash our potential, grow the economy, and unlock that future, we ask those seeking to lead the next UK government to choose homegrown energy.

'This event, the report and the panel session will help our member companies identify 2024’s new opportunities and overcome its challenges. We look forward to having you join us on the day.'

Shaun Reynolds, Energy Transaction Services Partner for Deloitte in Aberdeen, said: 'We are very pleased to continue our support of OEUK’s business breakfast events again this year.

'These events play a vital role in uniting, steering, and influencing the industry’s future, and ensure vital conversations around meeting net zero targets take place.

'I’m sure this year’s events will make for interesting discussion on how to meet the UK’s energy requirements and deliver the technologies that are essential to transition to net zero.'

Free media passes are available for these events upon request. Please email media@oeuk.org.uk to book your spot.
