The spotlight is on the people and organisations powering Scotland’s clean power future as The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards 2026, organised by trade body Scottish Renewables, has unveiled its shortlist of nominees.

Now in its fifth year, the awards celebrate the skills, innovation and resilience that drive one of Scotland’s most important and fast-moving industries. Categories cover every stage of the supply chain including manufacturing, logistics, workforce development and sustainability, highlighting the depth and diversity of talent in Scotland.

From pioneering start-ups and SMEs to established players from across the energy spectrum, this year’s finalists represent the best of a supply chain that is critical to delivering Scotland’s £15 billion renewable energy industry.

Some examples from the shortlist include:

  • Associated British Ports – the UK’s largest port operator and a key enabler of the renewable energy supply chain, which has been shortlisted in the Diversity and Culture Award category.
  • Seaway7  its Graduate Programme develops early-career talent for the offshore wind sector through structured training, practical experience and industry-aligned skills development. It has been shortlisted in the Green Energy Skills Award category.
  • Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm – which is committed to ensuring Scottish suppliers are in pole position to tender for contracts. Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm has been shortlisted in the Supply Chain Development Award category.
  • EnergyPro – a specialist asset management provider with over 25 years of experience managing >1GW of renewable assets, which has been shortlisted in the Green Energy Skills Award, Best Practice Award, Outstanding SME Award and Technology & Business Innovation Award categories.
  • Sulmara – a marine geophysical survey company innovating the way seabed data is collected to ensure it is done in the most efficient, sustainable and low-risk way. It has been shortlisted in the Technology & Business Innovation Award category.

Emma Harrick, Director of Energy Transition and Supply Chain at Scottish Renewables, said: 'It is always a huge honour to celebrate the people and organisations that are helping to shape the future of our industry in Scotland and The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards allow us to do just that.

'Every year this event shines a spotlight on the organisations and companies turning bold plans into feasible and profitable projects.

'The standard of entries for this year’s awards has once again been exceptional, not only because of the quality of the submissions but because they demonstrate the depth and breadth of Scotland’s exceptional supply chain expertise. The judging team has had an extremely difficult task to whittle down these entries to the shortlist announced today.

'Above all else, this year’s awards will showcase the immense efforts of businesses seeking to harness the economic and opportunities arising from our green energy ambitions.

'I am very much looking forward to celebrating the talent, innovation, skills and engineering know-how that is being applied to renewable energy projects across Scotland and beyond.'

The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards will see businesses, organisations and projects contest prizes across eight categories at a prestigious awards ceremony in Aberdeen on May 28.
