Yorkshire-based Sewell Facilities Management has announced it will be providing facilities management for Dogger Bank Wind Farm, the world’s largest offshore wind farm.
The contract will see Sewell Facilities Management (FM) looking after facilities management services for the wind farm’s on-shore converter stations in East Yorkshire and Redcar.
Once complete, Dogger Bank will become the world’s largest offshore wind farm, generating 5% of the UK’s electricity, equivalent to powering almost 6 million homes. Sewell FM will be providing facilities management services at the converter sites, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), grounds maintenance, water hygiene, cleaning and waste management.
