PS Renewables has announced that Crockwell Hill Solar Farm has received planning permission from West Northamptonshire Council.
Members of West Northants Planning Committee unanimously granted permission for the project which, once built, would generate the equivalent electricity required to power 2,100 homes each year.
Lead Development Manager Greg Felix said: ‘We are delighted to have been granted full Planning Permission for this project. We would like to thank West Northamptonshire Council’s Planning Committee for their full support in the determination, and the Council officers for helping us achieve this important milestone.’
Crockwell Hill Solar Farm will be located on 18 acres of land approximately 300m to the west of the Watford Gap Service Station.
The Council received no objections to the application.
