2022 has been a transformative year for Tailwind’s operations, with first oil from Evelyn, successful installation of new ESPs via a workover of the Orlando well, new perforations in the Bittern PA-A2 well plus expansion of Gannet E via a second flowline and drilling of the Gannet E-04 (GE-04) well. All these projects have been delivered on schedule, and production volumes from the new projects are running ahead of budgeted levels.
Tailwind net production in 2022 averaged 11,500 boepd, however, this annual average does not reflect the material impact of the projects mentioned above on growing our production through the year. January 2022 Tailwind net production was 12,300 boepd, with instantaneous rates of 13,500 boepd. December 2022 Tailwind net production was 23,300 boepd, with instantaneous rates of 24,500 boepd. The impact of the new projects has essentially been a doubling of production for Tailwind in the year. The table below shows the instantaneous peak rates achieved by each field in December.

Overview of Tailwind well stock by Field
- Bittern: Five producing wells, with one of these wells (B1z) planned for sidetrack in 2024. All wells are subsea tie-backs to the Triton FPSO.
- Gannet E: Three producing wells, with fourth well planned for tie-in during Q1 2023 and a fifth well planned to be drilled after the Bittern B1z sidetrack (as part of same rig campaign) in 2024. All wells are subsea tie-backs to the Triton FPSO.
- Evelyn: One producing well subsea tie-back to the Triton FPSO. A further infill well to be studied in 2023, after assessing the performance of the first well.
- Guillemot West & North-West: 7 development wells of which 4 are currently producing, with 2 planned for well interventions in 2023. A number of wells are under review for further intervention along with potential infill/sidetrack projects. All wells are subsea tie-backs to the Triton FPSO.
- Orlando: One producing well, subsea tie-back to Ninian Central Platform.
- Columbus: One producing well, subsea tie-back into the Arran pipeline exported via Shearwater.
