Ahead of its 2026 HSE conference on Wednesday February 25 at P&J Live in Aberdeen, Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has confirmed the themes of Trust, Transparency and Transformation for a collaborative agenda that will encompass health, safety and environmental performance.
Industry leaders, technical experts and innovators will gather at the one-day event, sponsored by Harbour Energy and TotalEnergies with support from CNOOC International, to discuss approaches to enhance trust and transparency in the management of UK energy production, including emissions reduction.
Mark Wilson, OEUK’s HSE & Operations Director said:
“With more than 60 years oil and gas experience and 20 years of offshore wind delivery, the offshore energy industry is proud but not complacent about its HSE performance. Our conference will focus on how we can sustain trust and enable people to challenge what more can be done to demonstrate transparency and identify areas to deliver transformational improvement.”
OEUK Chief Executive, David Whitehouse will open the event with a keynote speech emphasising the UK’s strong health, safety and environmental standards and encouraging attendees to embrace the opportunity to innovate and collaborate for a sustainable future.
Sessions confirmed for the 2026 conference include:
- Measuring methane with a focus on EU methane regulation for imported gas
- Building psychological trust to support well-being including progress on the Mental Health Charter developed by the International Association of Drilling Contractors
- Practical tools and expert insights to help transform health compliance featuring the latest health trends and regulatory actions being implemented to protect offshore personnel
The conference will bring together up to 500 delegates, offering valuable networking opportunities to share innovation and expertise across key workstreams.
