The NSTA has today (5th September 2024) published its latest interactive UKCS Decommissioning Benchmarking Report, which uses thorough data analysis to provide insights into industry’s performance in post-CoP running costs, well P&A, removals and project management.
Sharing this information can help operators identify opportunities to continuously improve their decommissioning project planning and execution, and cost-efficiency.
The benchmarks were developed with input from industry and include the cost and duration of well P&A, which can be split and viewed by mechanical status and region.
They are derived from data gathered via the annual UKCS Stewardship Survey, in alignment with the OEUK Decommissioning Work Breakdown Structures.
