US: Shell invests in Kaikias waterflood to unlock production in Gulf of America
Shell Offshore, a subsidiary of Shell, has taken a final investment decision (FID) on a waterflood project at its Kaikias field in the US Gulf of America. Water will be injected to displace additional oil in the reservoir formation which supplies production to Shell’s Ursa platform in the Mars Corridor. -

Sweden: Europe's first 'wind power-built' car park inaugurated
The new Niels Bohr car park in Lund, Sweden, was recently inaugurated, a building partly constructed from disused rotor blades from wind turbines. The building is the first of its kind in Europe and has a façade made from rotor blades from Vattenfall's now decommissioned Nørre Økse Sø wind farm. -
