    Norway: Equinor announces oil discovery in the Johan Castberg area in the Barents Sea
    Equinor has struck oil in exploration well 7720/7-DD-1H, Drivis Tubåen, on the Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea. The well was drilled in the Drivis structure on the Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea. According to preliminary estimates the size of the discovery is 9-15 million barrels of oil.

    Spain: Plenitude announces the start of operation of Renopool in Spain, its largest photovoltaic park
    Plenitude has started operations at the northern block of its Renopool photovoltaic plant, located, in the municipality of Solana de los Barros, in Badajoz (Extremadura), Spain, with an installed capacity of 130 MW. Once completed and starts operating at the end of 2025, Renopool will be the largest solar park built by the company globally, consisting of seven plants across two blocks with a total installed capacity of 330 MW.

    US: Coastal Bend LNG initiates development of 22.5 Mtpa LNG export facility
    Coastal Bend LNG has initiated development of a 22.5 million ton per annum (Mtpa) natural gas liquefaction and export facility on the Texas Gulf Coast. Coastal Bend LNG’s planned development will include up to five 4.5 Mtpa liquefaction trains, cogeneration, LNG storage tanks, and export facilities for shipping, bunkering, and ISO containers. Carbon capture, transport, and storage will be integrated into Coastal Bend LNG’s facilities.
