Foresight has announced that Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners II SCSp ('FEIP II'), has made a significant investment in Gilkes Energy’s Earba Pumped Storage Hydro (PSH) project. Earba is a 1.8 GW / 40 GWh long-duration energy storage project in the Scottish Highlands and one of the largest PSH projects currently under development in the UK. -

IEA Governing Board statement on energy markets and security
In it's Oct 15 meeting, the IEA Governing Board reiterated its commitment to international energy security. The IEA Governing Board noted the IEA Secretariat's most recent assessments, which point to continued tightness in oil markets, notably for diesel. They stated their willingness to take further actions to address challenges in global energy markets, building on the G7 statement of 2 October. -

SFL Corp announces ruling from Borgarting Court of Appeal in the Seadrill legal case
SFL Corporation has announced that Borgarting Court of Appeal has delivered its judgment in the legal case between SFL’s rig-owning subsidiary and certain subsidiaries of Seadrill, following the redelivery of the drilling rig Hercules to SFL in December 2022.
