Northern Lights JV has awarded the consortium of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ('K' LINE) and Malaysia’s MISC Berhad (MISC) a time charter contract for one newly built 12,000 m3 liquefied CO2 carrier. The award follows the announcement of Northern Lights’ fleet expansion on 29 January 2026. -

US: Delfin Midstream announces $5 billion Final Investment Decision for first FLNG vessel
Delfin Midstream Inc. has taken a Final Investment Decision ('FID') for the first floating liquefied natural gas ('FLNG') vessel of the Delfin LNG project under development in Louisiana and offshore in the Gulf of America. Germany: Vattenfall is building the first solar park with low-emission steel
Vattenfall is breaking new ground in the construction of the large open-field solar park 'Juliusburg / Krukow' in Schleswig-Holstein, using low-emission steel from its Swedish partner SSAB for the PV mounting systems for the first time. This reduces CO2 emissions in the construction and supply chain by 67 percent compared to conventional steel. -
