Aminex has provided an update on its operations in Tanzania. Chikumbi-1 drilling and 3D seismic programmes progressed in the Ruvuma PSA and drilling rig selected, Kiliwani North-1 remediation work ongoing and areas for future 3D seismic surveys identified with intent to progress low cost prospects in both Kiliwani North and Nyuni.

Aminex has announced that, further to the binding agreement signed in July 2018 for the farm-out of 50 percent of its working interest in the Ruvuma PSA to The Zubair Corporation, the parties have mutually agreed to extend the longstop date of the transaction to 31 March 2019 in order to complete the Conditions Precedent.

||Tanzania: Aminex provides Kiliwani North and Nyuni Area update
Aminex has announced that, as a result of payment defaults by Bounty Oil & Gas under the joint operating agreements relating to the Kiliwani North Development Licence and the Nyuni Area PSA, that Bounty is now deemed to have transferred its interests in such assets to the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Ndovu Resources, and the other non-defaulting parties.

||Tanzania: Aminex provides Kiliwani North update
Aminex has commenced remediation work on the Kiliwani North-1 well. Pending approvals, the Company intends to perforate a lower untested and potentially gas bearing section of the reservoir system which is anticipated to occur during the fourth quarter with the intent to bring the well back to full time production.
