Norway: Aker BP acquires interests in the Losgann/Froskelår and Slagugle discoveries
Aker BP has entered into two separate transactions that strengthen its positions close to existing infrastructure on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. In the North Sea, the company has agreed to acquire Apache’s interest in the Losgann/Froskelår discovery near the Alvheim area. In the Norwegian Sea, it has agreed to acquire operatorship and a majority interest in the Slagugle area, close to the Skarv field. -

US: MEAG Investor sells stake in U.S. Wind Farms to Ardian

Santos announces half-year results for 2026
Santos has announced its half-year results for 2026, reflecting a period of transition for the company as the Pikka project commenced production, Barossa continued to progress through commissioning and ramp-up, underpinned by the base business which performed strongly. First-half production was 45.6 mmboe, up 3 per cent on the prior corresponding period. Sales revenue was $2.6 billion, EBITDAX was $1.6 billion and free cash flow from operations was $378 million. -

Namibia: Equinor joins Chevron in Namibia exploration licence

Australian Government awards Zenith Energy Australia contract to lead phase 2 of the Northern Endeavour decommissioning program
