UK: Equinor wins opportunity to develop the world’s largest offshore wind farm
Equinor and its partner SSE have been awarded contracts to develop three large scale offshore wind projects in the Dogger Bank region of the North Sea. This will be the world’s biggest offshore wind farm development with a total installed capacity of 3.6 GW.

Talos Energy has entered into two separate agreements with BP and ExxonMobil related to exploration opportunities in the Gulf of Mexico. The agreements cover the Puma West prospect, located in Talos-owned Green Canyon Block 821, where Talos retains a 25 percent interest, and the Hershey prospect, located in Green Canyon Blocks 326, 327, 370 and 371, where Talos has acquired 100 percent equity from ExxonMobil.

JV partner Carnarvon Petroleum reports that the Santos-operated Dorado-3 appraisal well has flowed at 48 MM scf/day gas and 4,500 bbls per day of condensate from the Baxter reservoir. Caley oil reservoir flow testing is to commence in around 8 to 10 days.
