12 Apr 26	Gasunie and Fluxys sign deal to interconnect Dutch and Belgian hydrogen infrastructure Dutch Gasunie subsidiary Hynetwork and its Belgian counterpart Fluxys hydrogen have signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for a cross-border hydrogen connection between the Netherlands and Belgium. Where possible, this connection will be developed using existing natural gas pipelines that have been repurposed for hydrogen transmission. The two companies aim to complete this connection by around 2030.
12 Apr 26	Norway: Worley Rosenberg’s RjukanLH2 FEED award for Nordic region’s first liquid hydrogen production facility Worley Rosenberg has been awarded the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract, with an exclusive option for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), for Norwegian Hydrogen’s 25 MW RjukanLH2 project. The project will establish the Nordic region’s first production facility for liquid hydrogen, with a capacity of 10 tonnes per day located in Rjukan, Norway.
12 Apr 26	Brazil: Petrobras signs contracts with Petronas to regain 100% stake in the Tartaruga Verde field and in Module III of the Espadarte field Petrobras has signed contracts with Petronas Petróleo Brasil Ltda for the acquisition of 50% stakes in the Tartaruga Verde and Espadarte – Module III fields, located in the Campos Basin. After the completion of the transaction, Petrobras will once again hold 100% ownership of the assets, remaining as operator.

10 Apr 26	Spain: Nordex Group lands 80 MW contract in Spain Nordex Group received a new order in Spain for initially 80 MW. A customer has ordered 13 N175/6.X turbines for a wind farm in Spain. The order includes a Premium Service for a period of 20 years. The order also provides for the option to expand the wind farm by an additional 40 MW in the future.

09 Apr 26	Brazil: Subsea7 awarded offshore contract for Sépia 2 in Brazil Subsea7 has announced the award of a supermajor contract by Petrobras, following a competitive tender, for the development of the Sépia 2 field located approx. 280 kms southeast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at a water depth of 2,170 metres in the pre-salt Santos Basin. Sépia 2 is one of the largest pre-salt expansion phases, playing a central role in Brazil’s energy development.
09 Apr 26	UK: EnQuest Heather fined for collective decommissioning failures The North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) has fined North Sea licensee EnQuest Heather Limited a collective total of £16.5 million for failing to decommission 33 inactive wells. The cumulative fine is for protracted non-compliance on 33 wells under four separate licences on Alma, Galia, Broom, and Dons fields. The penalty for each breach is £500,000.
