Norway: Repsol given consent for exploration drilling in Block 9/2 in the North Sea
Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority has given Repsol consent to drill exploration well 9/2-12 in production licence PL 910. The well will be drilled in the North Sea, around 6 kms east of the Yme field, and will test a prospect named Kathryn.

Norway: Equinor given consent for exploration drilling in Block 32/4 in the North Sea
Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority has given Equinor consent to drill exploration well 32/4-2 in production licence PL 921. The well is located in the centre of the northern sector of the North Sea, southeast of the Troll field, and will test a prospect named Gladsheim.

Angola: VAALCO Energy makes final Settlement Payment to exit Angola
VAALCO Energy has paid GBP 4.5 million to Angola National Agency of Petroleum, Gas, and Biofuels (ANPG), as National Concessionaire, under the terms of the previously announced Settlement Agreement executed earlier this year that finalized the termination of VAALCO’s rights, liabilities and outstanding obligations for Block 5/06 in Angola.

Norway: Equinor invests in further development of the Gudrun field
Equinor and the Gudrun partners have decided to invest in a water injection plant on the Gudrun field to improve reservoir recovery. This will extend the field life by three years compared to the original plan. Equinor and its licence partners plan to start up the water injection plant during 2021.

Norway: Equinor starts production at Trestakk
Equinor reports that production from the Trestakk subsea field on Haltenbanken in the Norwegian Sea started on 16 July. Tied back to the Asgard A floating production vessel, the field has estimated recoverable resources of 76 million barrels of oil.
