Robust regulation and industry action saw production emissions fall by an estimated 7% in 2025, contributing to an overall estimated reduction of 37% since 2018, according to the latest Emissions Monitoring Report from the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA).

The Wolin East oil discovery is estimated to contain mean recoverable oil, sales gas and natural gas liquids totalling 200 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe).

Under the agreement, Ørsted will acquire the remaining 49.9 % ownership interest from its investment partners for a total consideration of approximately GBP?15 million.
