Angus Energy has provided an update on operations at the Lidsey oil field in PL241, onshore UK. The Company reports that geochemical analysis of potential hydrocarbon bearing formations encountered in the Lidsey-X2 well has confirmed TOC (total organic content) values similar to the Brockham and the Horse Hill-1 wells, which is comparable to the Bakken Shale formation (US).

Anadarko announces 2018 Capital Program
Anadarko Petroleum has announced its 2018 capital expectations and guidance. In 2018, the company expects to make capital investments in the range of $4.2 to $4.6 billion, with approx. 80 percent of capital allocated toward the Delaware and DJ basins, including Anadarko midstream, and the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
