12 Mar 26	Australia: JERA to refocus Australian LNG portfolio with transfer of shares in Gorgon and Ichthys LNG projects JERA, a global energy leader and Japan’s largest power generation company has, through its subsidiary JERA Australia Pty Ltd – entered into an agreement with MidOcean Energy, an LNG company formed and managed by EIG, a leading institutional investor in the global energy and infrastructure sectors, under which MidOcean will acquire JERA’s interests in the Gorgon LNG Project (in which MidOcean is an existing joint venture partner), and the Ichthys LNG Project.
12 Mar 26	UK: RWE launches statutory consultation for low carbon power station RWE, the UK’s largest energy generator, is launching a public consultation on its updated plans for a new decarbonised gas-fired power station on the Humber Estuary, approximately 3.5 km east of Stallingborough village. The proposed power station would be capable of generating up to 900 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough to power around one million homes, and would be fitted with cutting-edge carbon capture technology.

US$ 736 million Oceanica Engenharia reports that, between December 2025 and February 2026, it entered into new long-term contracts with Petrobras, with a total value of approx. US$ 736 million (R$ 4.2 billion). With these new contracts, the Company’s backlog increases to approx. R$ 12 billion, reinforcing Oceanica’s position in the Brazilian offshore services market.

The sale, the second non-discretionary offshore oil and gas lease sale required under President Trump’s 'One Big Beautiful Bill Act' in the Gulf of America, included 25 blocks covering approximately 141,000 acres in federal waters of the Gulf of America. Thirteen companies submitted 38 bids totaling $69,838,782.

10 Mar 26	Poland: RWE sold its Polish offshore wind development project to PGE RWE and PGE have successfully closed the transaction they announced in December. As agreed, PGE has become the sole owner of the F.E.W. Baltic II offshore wind development project in the Polish Baltic Sea. The wind farm has a planned capacity of 350 megawatts and will be located approx. 50 kms from shore, north of the Polish town of Ustka.
