22 Oct 24	Turkey: Azerbaijan’s GL Group acquires 25% stake in a Natural Gas Development Project in Türkiye GL Group, the first privately owned group of energy companies in Azerbaijan, has acquired a 25% equity stake in Gazelle Energy, a Canadian company, which holds 100% ownership and is the Operator of the Thrace Basin Block F17-b4 license in northwest Türkiye. The block is a tight gas appraisal/development play with a discovery of 65 Bcf (2P) gas reserves and potential significant upside.
22 Oct 24	Australia: Comet Ridge provides Mahalo East pilot drilling operations update Comet Ridge has provided an update on its Mahalo East pilot drilling operations. The pilot program includes the Mahalo East 1 vertical well (now drilled) and the Mahalo East 2 lateral well which spudded on 20 October 2024. The wells are being drilled with the support of the Queensland Government’s Frontier Gas Exploration Grants Program, under which Comet Ridge received a $5 million funding allocation.

RWE’s proposed Abertillery Wind Farm has a planned capacity of approximately 36 MW.
