Norway: Norwegian Offshore Directorate announces production figures for June 2026
Preliminary production figures for June 2026 show an average daily production of 2,022,000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate. Total gas sales were 10.0 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is 0.6 (GSm3) more than the previous month. The average daily production of liquids in June was: 1,827,000 barrels of oil, 179 000 barrels of NGL and 16,000 barrels of condensate.

The Nordex Group has concluded a new ESG-linked syndicated Multi-Currency Guarantee Facility with a total volume of EUR 2,475 million. This new facility comes with a 5-year maturity and improved terms and conditions, including a material reduction in interest rates on a like-for-like basis. The new facility provides the company with a larger, more flexible and more cost-efficient financing framework for the period from 2026 to 2031.

Cote d'Ivoire/Italy: Saipem awarded new contracts in Ivory Coast and Italy by Eni worth approx. 800 million euro
Saipem has been awarded two new contracts, one offshore in Ivory Coast and one onshore in Italy, for a total value of approx. 800 million euro. The first contract, awarded by Eni Côte d’Ivoire and its partners, refers to the Baleine Phase 3 project. The second contract, awarded by Enilive, refers to the engineering, procurement and construction of a new deoxygenation unit at Enilive’s biorefinery in Venice, Porto Marghera.

UK: SSE secures planning consent for Sloy Power Station upgrades
SSE has secured Section 36 Planning Consent from the Scottish Government for upgrades to its existing 152.5MW Sloy Hydro-electric Power Station. The consented upgrades provide SSE with the option to convert the existing facility into a pumped storage hydro scheme capable of providing up to 16GWh of long-duration electricity storage.

Vitol has agreed to sell its US upstream company, VTX Energy Partners, to Verde Operating Company, for an undisclosed sum. VTX is a successful operation, producing 60,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day in the southern Delaware Basin, spanning Reeves and Pecos counties, Texas.

Brazil: Petrobras' P-33 truck has left the Port of Açu for sustainable disposal.
The P-33 platform began sailing July 23rd towards the Rio Grande shipyard, where it will undergo a sustainable recycling process. By 2030, Petrobras' Strategic Plan foresees the decommissioning of 18 platforms , including seven fixed platforms and 11 floating units.
