A new Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council report has today been launched to support industry planning for repurposing of oil and gas infrastructure for green and blue hydrogen production in the UK Continental Shelf. The report was commissioned from engineering and technical consultancy Vysus Group.

JV partner Petrolia Noco has announced the completion of the formation and flow testing (DST) of well 34/4-16 S, located in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea in Production License PL 882. Petrolia Noco has 20% ownership in the license, which is operated by Neptune Energy.

Norway: Lundin Energy announces successful completion of Lille Prinsen appraisal wells on the Utsira High in the Norwegian North Sea
Lundin Energy has successfully completed appraisal wells on the Lille Prinsen discovery, north of the Edvard Grieg field. The two wells have confirmed a combined updated gross resource range of 12 - 60 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) and the discoveries are being matured for possible project sanction before the end of 2022.

Vineyard Wind, a joint venture between Avangrid Renewables, a subsidiary of AVANGRID, and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), have announced that the company’s first project has achieved financial close. Working with nine international and U.S. based banks, $2.3 billion of senior debt has been raised to finance the construction of the project.
