PGE and Ørsted successfully conclude monopile installation All monopiles have now been installed at the Baltica 2 offshore construction site – 107 for wind turbines and 4 for offshore substations. PGE and Ørsted completed this key stage on schedule. The completion of monopile installation marks the end of one of the most important stages in the construction of the offshore part of Baltica 2.

23 Aug 26	Argentina: Continental Resources to acquire 50% interest in Phoenix Global Resources, forming JV operating company with Mercuria Energy Group Mercuria Energy Group held Phoenix Global Resources has announced that Continental Resources has signed a Heads of Agreement ('HOA') outlining a proposed transaction under which Continental will acquire a 50% interest in Phoenix. Upon completion of the transaction, Mercuria and Continental will become equal owners, forming a 50/50 joint venture operating company focused on the continued development and expansion of Phoenix's position in Argentina's Vaca Muerta.
23 Aug 26	US: Continental Resources significantly expands Permian Basin position with acquisition of FireBird Energy II Continental Resources has entered into an agreement to acquire FireBird Energy II LLC, a portfolio company of Quantum Capital Group. The acquisition of FireBird, which owns approx. 54,000 net acres in the Midland Basin, significantly expands Continental's Permian Basin position and adds high-quality, oil-weighted production and development inventory adjacent to its existing operations.
23 Aug 26	Ghana: Petrobras begins negotiations for exploration blocks in Ghana Petrobras has expressed interest in exploration blocks located in offshore areas of the Keta Basin, in Ghana. Ghana's Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has approved the application for negotiation of exploration contracts in four blocks. With this approval, Petrobras has entered the direct negotiation phase of the exploration contract terms.

21 Aug 26	McDermott announces Q2 2026 results McDermott International has announced financial results for the second quarter 2026. For the three months ended June 30, 2026, revenue was $2.3 billion; adjusted EBITDA was $143 million; and cash flow used in operating activities was $76 million. Net income reached $41 million during the quarter. Backlog at quarter end was $15.8 billion. Trailing twelve months adjusted EBITDA was $519 million.
