As part of this investment in the Baltic Sea, more than 50 monopiles and transition pieces have already been installed. The wind park is being developed 53 km off the Dutch coast by Ecowende, a joint venture of Shell, Chubu and Eneco.

In their collective commitment to support oil market stability, the seven participating countries decided to implement a production adjustment of 188 thousand barrels per day from the additional voluntary adjustments announced in April 2023.

The acquisition delivers an effective 15% increase in Horizon’s daily production to approx. 7,300 boepd, increases Horizon’s net 2P reserves by more than 20% to approx. 15.35 mmboe, and expands Horizon’s geographic footprint to nine producing oil and gas fields across five countries.
