The previous Plan was produced in 2019 and, since then, the NSTA has revised its Strategy to fully incorporate net zero into its work, alongside optimising domestic production of oil and gas in the interest of energy security. |

Netherlands: TotalEnergies and Orsted partner to participate in Dutch offshore wind tenders TotalEnergies and Ørsted have joined forces to jointly submit bids for the two Dutch offshore wind tenders 'Holland Coast West' with the aim to achieve net positive impact on biodiversity and the Dutch energy system. Australia: Galilee Energy re-commences drilling at the Glenaras gas project in the Galilee Basin Galilee Energy has announced that the Silver City Rig 23 has commenced drilling the second well in the current 5 well programme at the Glenaras gas project in the Galilee Basin in Queensland. The prospective resource report includes 35 leads located in PEL 73 in northeast Namibia.
