Brazil: Petrobras starts production from P-76 FPSO in the Buzios field in the Santos Basin
Petrobras has started the production of oil and natural gas from the P-76 FPSO, the third platform to enter production in the Buzios field. The Buzios field, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, was discovered in 2010 and is the main field under the Transfer of Rights Agreement. The field started production in April 2018.

Benthic, a global geosciences company, partnered with Asian Geos, has successfully completed its geotechnical investigation in the Limbayong field, offshore East Malaysia for PETRONAS Carigali. Asian Geos was awarded a contract by PETRONAS Carigali for the Provision of Soil Investigation Services for Limbayong Deepwater Development.

Repsol and partners PETRONAS and MOECO have made the largest gas find in Indonesia in 18 years. The discovery is also among the ten largest finds worldwide in the last 12 months. The KBD-2X well in the Sakakemang block in South Sumatra provides preliminary estimation of at least 2 TCF of recoverable resources.

Norway's production decreases in January 2019
Preliminary production figures for January 2019 show an average daily production of 1,822,000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 30,000 barrels per day compared to December. Oil production is approx. 0.5 percent lower than the NPD’s forecast.
