Norway: Vår Energi announces Q2 2026 trading update
Vår Energi will publish its financial report for the second quarter 2026 on Tuesday 21 July. Today, the Company provides an update on production, sales volumes and other relevant items. Average production in the first half of 2026 was 391 kboepd. Vår Energi’s net production of oil, liquids and natural gas averaged 376 kboepd in the second quarter of 2026, a decrease of 7% from the first quarter of 2026 and an increase of 31% compared to the second quarter of 2025.

US: Baker Hughes secures substantial equipment and services awards for Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility
Baker Hughes has announced three substantial awards for Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The awards, booked in the second quarter, comprise orders from Bechtel Energy Inc. (Bechtel) and Cheniere to supply liquefaction equipment for Train 7 and for a boil-off gas re-liquefaction unit, as well as an award for fleet-wide gas turbine technology upgrades.

US: GTT receives an order from Samsung Heavy Industries for the tank design of the first U.S. FLNG unit, the world’s largest by production capacity
GTT has received, in the second quarter of 2026, an order from Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard for the tank design of Delfin FLNG 1, a floating liquefied natural gas unit (FLNG) to be built for the Delfin LNG project. Delfin FLNG 1 will be the first floating liquefied natural gas unit to enter service in the United States, as well as the world’s largest in terms of expected production capacity.

Argentina: Archer awarded additional super-spec rig contract in Vaca Muerta
Archer has announced the award of an additional five-year contract, with two one-year extension options, from YPF for a super-spec drilling rig to its Vaca Muerta fleet. The contract has an estimated value of approx. UK: Archer awarded a large P&A contract in the UK
Further to the announcement on June 26, 2026, Archer has now entered into a large contract related to plug and abandonment ('P&A') activities in the UK North Sea for Well-Safe Solutions on the Beryl and Forties fields operated by Apache North Sea. The decommissioning project, which will commence during 2026, includes seven platforms and more than 260 wells.
