Norway: Equinor drills dry well near the Visund field in the North Sea - 34/6-6 S Equinor, operator of production licence PL 554, has concluded the drilling of wildcat well 34/6-6 S. The well, which was drilled about 10 kms north of the Visund field with the objective of proving petroleum in reservoir rocks in the Brent Group from the Middle Jurassic, was dry, and has been permanently plugged and abandoned. |
