Oceaneering and Kontiki Winds sign agreement to electrify offshore assets and microgrids through renewable power generation
Oceaneering International has announced that its Norwegian subsidiary, Oceaneering AS, has signed an MoU with Kontiki Winds (a Havfram company) to jointly pursue the application of floating offshore wind for remote microgrid renewable power generation to electrify offshore assets such as oil and gas production as well as other small scale power generation opportunities among island states currently producing electricity by fossil fuel.

Indonesia: Texcal to drill BA-01 exploration well in the Mahato PSC, Indonesia
JV partner Cue Energy has announced that Texcal, the operator of the Mahato PSC in Indonesia, is planning to drill the BA-01 exploration well. The primary target is the Miocene-age Telisa Formation sandstone reservoir at a depth of 900ft. A secondary target is the Menggala Formation, expected at approx. 2500ft. Both targets are producing reservoirs in the Central Sumatra Basin.

Libya: Eni launches a major gas development project in Libya
Eni and the National Oil Corporation of Libya (NOC) have agreed on the development of 'Structures A&E', a strategic project aimed at increasing gas production to supply the Libyan domestic market as well as to ensure export to Europe. The combined gas production from the two structures will start in 2026 and reach a plateau of 750 million standard gas cubic feet per day.
