Norway/UK: Equinor starts production from the cross-border Utgard gas condensate field
Equinor and its partners have started production from the Utgard gas and condensate field, spanning the Norwegian-UK border in the North Sea. Recoverable Utgard resources are estimated at around 40 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) and daily production on plateau will be around 43 000 boe.

Norway: Vestas receives 34 MW order in Norway with 27-year service agreement
Vestas has received a 34 MW order for the Haramsfjellet wind project on the island of Haramsøya in western Norway. The order is placed by Finnish-based Taaleri Energia investing via their SolarWind II fund in the project that will have an annual production of about 112 GWh; enough electricity to supply around 7,000 Norwegian households.

Norway: Equinor announces gas discovery south of the Marulk field in the Norwegian Sea - 6507/2-5 S
Equinor and its partners AkerBP and Wellesley Petroleum have found gas in the Ørn exploration well south-west of the Marulk field in the Norwegian Sea. Recoverable resources are estimated at 8–14 million standard cubic metres of oil equivalent, corresponding to 50–88 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe).

Mongolia: Petro Matad's Red Deer-1 exploration well disappoints
Petro Matad has announced that the Red Deer-1 exploration well located in the south of Block XX, eastern Mongolia, has been drilled to a TD of 2000 metres and no hydrocarbon bearing zones were identified. The well will be plugged and abandoned. In the northern part of the block, the Heron-1 well has been temporarily suspended and the Gazelle-1 well is preparing to spud.

Australia: Comet Ridge reports gas at Galilee Basin well Albany-2
Comet Ridge has provided an update on the drilling operations at the Albany-2 well in the Galilee Basin, which is being drilled as part of the Galilee Deeps Joint Venture drilling programme with Vintage Energy. Logging indicates good reservoir quality and the presence of gas in several of the sandstone sections of the target reservoir.

Oil prices soar after attacks on Saudi facilities
Oil prices ended nearly 15 percent higher on Monday, with the Brent benchmark seeing its biggest jump in about 30 years. The rise came after two attacks on Saudi Arabian facilities on Saturday knocked out about 5% of global supply.

Saudi Arabia oil facilities ablaze after drone strikes
Drone attacks have set alight two major oil facilities run by the state-owned company Aramco in Saudi Arabia, state media say. Footage showed a huge blaze at Abqaiq, site of Aramco's largest oil processing plant, while a second drone attack started fires in the Khurais oilfield.
