Westwood Insight - Nigeria’s oil and gas sector set to liven up with 140 new wells drilled year-on-year to 2030 Nigeria's newly elected president has made public his administration’s intent to boost crude production from the 1.3 mmbpd produced in 2022 to 2.6 mmbpd by 2027. While Westwood expects there to be growth, this target appears to be overly ambitious. Given the projects on the horizon, Westwood forecasts oil production output of 1.9 mmbpd by 2030. |
