US: Pantheon Resources provides update on Alkaid-2 well Pantheon Resources has provided an operational update on the Alkaid-2 well, the Company's first horizontal well on the Alaska North Slope. Despite being partially blocked with approx. 1,000 feet of frac sand, the Alkaid-2 well is flowing naturally into Pantheon's recently commissioned permanent production facilities at a rate of over 500 bpd of hydrocarbon liquids, as well as significant natural gas, from an estimated 4,000 ft of lateral. |

UK: Ithaca Energy announces drilling activity update Ithaca Energy has announced a drilling update for the Isabella and K2 wells in the UK North Sea. The TotalEnergies -operated Isabella well encountered hydrocarbons in Upper Jurassic and Triassic sandstone reservoirs, with 148 feet (or 45 meters) of net thickness. Ithaca Energy and partner Dana Petroleum have made the decision to carry out exploration drilling in Block 22/14c of the Central North Sea – the K2 prospect. |
