Equinor has celebrated cargo number 1000 at the Hammerfest LNG plant on Melkoya, 'the Snohvit plant'. The cargo consists of 140,500 cubic metres of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Total sales value of all the LNG cargos since the field came on stream is in the range of NOK 130-150 billion.

Wintershall Dea has farmed out a 30 percent participating interest in its three Potiguar offshore exploration blocks POT-M-857, POT-M-863 and POT-M-865 to the subsidiary of Murphy Oil Corporation in Brazil. Wintershall Dea will retain a 70 percent participating interest and operatorship.
