Equinor has exercised an option to extend the framework agreement with PGS entered into in March 2021 by an two additional years. The two-year framework agreement covers 4D monitoring surveys on the Norwegian and the UK continental shelf.

Norway: Var Energi announces fourth quarter and full year 2022 production update
Vår Energi’s net production of oil, liquids and natural gas averaged 214 kboepd in the fourth quarter of 2022, stable compared to 214 kboepd in the third quarter of 2022 and a decrease of 18% compared to the fourth quarter of 2021. Production for the full year 2022 was within the revised guided range at 220.1 kboepd (down from 242 kboepd in 2021).

The first charging corridor for medium and heavy-duty electric trucks (E-Trucks) in Europe has been announced by bp pulse. Six public charging locations with ultra-fast 300kw charge points aimed at E-Trucks have been launched along a 600km stretch of the Rhine-Alpine corridor across Germany.

The renewal of this License satisfies one of the Completion Conditions required for the acquisition by Serica of Tailwind Energy.

Preliminary production figures for December 2022 show an average daily production of 1,983,000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate. Oil production in December is 9.7 percent lower than the NPD’s forecast and 6.1 percent lower than the forecast so far this year.
