Australia: Santos spuds Dorado-3 appraisal well
JV partner Carnarvon Petroleum reports that the Santos-operated Dorado-3 appraisal well has commenced drilling. The well, which is located approx. 900 metres north west of the Dorado-1 discovery location, has been designed to enhance the JV's confidence in the subsurface characteristics and confirm reservoir productivity.

Iraq: Dana Gas announces increase in reserves in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
Dana Gas has announced that its share of the proved plus probable (2P) hydrocarbon reserves at Pearl Petroleum Company's Khor Mor and Chemchemal fields in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have increased by 10 percent following the recent certification of reserves by Gaffney Cline Associates.

Uganda: CNOOC says it aims to take a stake in Ugandan oil pipeline
China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) aims to take a stake in an oil pipeline being developed to export Ugandan crude. Uganda discovered crude oil reserves about 13 years ago but commercial production has been delayed partly because of a lack of infrastructure, such as an export pipeline.

Indonesia: Neptune Energy acquires interests in Kutei Basin PSCs from Eni
Neptune Energy has agreed to acquire interests from Eni in the Kutei basin Production Sharing Contracts (PSC), offshore Indonesia. The agreement will see Neptune acquire a 20 per cent working interest in the East Sepinggan PSC and a 30 per cent working interest in the East Ganal PSC.
