Namibia: BW Energy signs Kudu farm-in agreement
BW Energy and the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) have signed a Farm-In and Carry Agreement. The agreement increases BW Kudu’s working interest in the Kudu license offshore Namibia from 56% to 95%. NAMCOR will retain the remaining 5% working interest.

US: Equinor selected for largest-ever US offshore wind award
Equinor has been selected to provide New York State with offshore wind power in one of the largest renewable energy procurements in the U.S. to date. Equinor and incoming strategic partner BP will provide 1,260 megawatts (MW) of renewable offshore wind power from Empire Wind 2, and another 1,230 MW of power from Beacon Wind 1.

The area not only has plenty of ageing platforms and pipelines that could host production and transmission of hydrogen cheaply, but also salt caverns to store it at low cost. UK: OGA confirms ongoing flexibility to licence change requests caused by COVID-19

Uruguay: PGS enters exploration data rejuvenation agreement with ANCAP
PGS has signed an agreement with Uruguay's state oil company ANCAP to reprocess over 11,000 km of existing 2D lines of various vintages, applying the latest seismic imaging techniques. The rejuvenation will provide new, reprocessed 2D seismic that will tie with PGS’ existing 15,600 sq km MultiClient 3D survey, covering the Punta del Este and Pelotas basins.

Egypt: United Oil and Gas provides quarterly production update
United Oil & Gas has provided a quarterly production update for the period to the end of 2020. All of United's production for the period was from the Kuwait Energy operated Abu Sennan Licence in Egypt, in which United holds a 22% working interest.
