Brazil: Petrobras discovers oil in ultra-deep waters of the Potiguar Basin Petrobras has discovered an oil accumulation in the ultra-deep waters of the Potiguar Basin in the Anhangá exploratory well of the POT-M-762_R15 Concession, located on the Brazilian Equatorial Margin. This is the second discovery in the Potiguar Basin in 2024. |

Germany: RWE connects Lengerich wind turbine to grid after successful repowering RWE has successfully completed the modernisation of its wind turbine in Lengerich. In a process known as repowering, the old 1.8 megawatt (MW) turbine was replaced by a more powerful one. The new 5.7 MW turbine at the Emsland location in north-west Germany now supplies around 4,000 instead of 1,000 households with green electricity. |

Norway: Shelf Drilling secures contract extension with Equinor in Norway Shelf Drilling has announced that a subsidiary of Shelf Drilling (North Sea) has secured a contract extension for the Shelf Drilling Barsk jack-up rig with Equinor for operations at the Gudrun field located in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The firm term of the extension is two wells with an estimated duration of 254 days in total. The contract extension also includes options for three wells at Gudrun. |

Poland: ORLEN Group to deliver another 1 bcm of self-produced Norwegian gas to Poland via Baltic Pipe The ORLEN Group has increased the volume of natural gas transported to Poland from its own production assets in Norway by more than 30%, equating to an additional 1 bcm annually.
