i3 Energy has announced the conclusion of its 2019 drilling programme with three wells drilled at its Liberator and Serenity discoveries in the UK. The Company will now prepare for a multi-well appraisal of Serenity and the Liberator West area in Summer 2020.

Norway: Wintershall Dea granted drilling permit for well 6604/6-1 in PL 894
The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted Wintershall Dea Norge a drilling permit for wildcat well 6604/6-1 in production licence PL 894. The well will be drilled approx. 56 kms south of the Asterix discovery (6705/10-1), 15 kms east of the Balderbra discovery (6604/5-1) and 110 kms southwest of the Aasta Hansteen field.
