Mexico: Eni completes Area 1 2017 drilling campaign offshore Mexico - increases hydrocarbons in place estimate
Eni has successfully drilled the Tecoalli 2 well, in the shallow waters of Campeche Bay, offshore Mexico. Following the results of this well and the revision of the reservoir models of the Amoca and Miztón fields, the hydrocarbon in place estimate for Area 1 is boosted from 1.4 to 2.0 billion barrels.

Mauritania: Kosmos Energy's Lamantin-1 exploration well offshore Mauritania disappoints
Kosmos Energy has completed drilling the Lamantin-1 exploration well located in Block C-12 offshore Mauritania in approx. 2,200 meters of water. Kosmos reports that the Campanian reservoir objective was water bearing with some residual hydrocarbons and the well will be plugged and abandoned.

UK: Forties oil pipeline to be closed for repairs - price of Brent crude rises 2 percent
The Forties pipeline, which carries about 40% of North Sea crude oil, is being closed after a crack was discovered in Aberdeenshire. The Forties pipeline carries crude North Sea oil across land for processing at Grangemouth. The crack was discovered last week at Red Moss near Netherley.

ExxonMobil has struck oil with its Avestruz-1 well in Block EG-06, announced the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea. The well was drilled in October 2017. The operator is now assessing potential commerciality.

Iraq: DNO steps up production from Peshkabir field in Kurdistan
DNO, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, has announced a tripling of production from the Peshkabir field in the Tawke license in the Kurdistan region of Iraq to 15,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) following completion of the Peshkabir-3 well testing, stimulation and cleanup program.

Premier Oil has entered into a sale and purchase agreement ('SPA') to sell its entire equity interest in the Esmond Transportation System ('ETS') pipeline to CATS Management. AWE has received a proposal from Mineral Resources Ltd for a scrip acquisition at $0.80 per share, to be effected via a scheme of arrangement.
