Coral South FLNG is the first project sanctioned by the Area 4 Partners for the development of the considerable gas resources discovered in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique.

Petrobras has also signed a commercial agreement with Unipec Asia Company, establishing a preferential supply of 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, based on market conditions, for a period of 10 years.

A total of 102 blocks or parts of blocks were announced in this licensing round. Of these, nine are in the Norwegian Sea and 93 in the Barents Sea.
