Norway: Equinor drills dry well and minor oil discovery southwest of the Vega field - 35/10-4 S and 35/10-4 A
Equinor, operator of PL 630, has concluded the drilling of wildcat wells 35/10-4 S and 35/10-4 A. The wells were drilled about 10 kms southwest of the Vega field in the northern part of the North Sea. The wells - one a dry hole and one a minor discovery - have been permanently plugged and abandoned.

Australia: Total reduces its stake in Ichthys LNG
Total has signed an agreement to divest a 4 percent interest in the Ichthys liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Australia to operating partner INPEX for an overall consideration of 1.6 billion USD. The transaction reduces Total’s interest in the asset to 26 percent.

Dana Gas hits production landmark of 70,000 boed
Dana Gas, the Middle East's largest regional private sector natural gas company, has announced that as a result of the ramp up of production from its debottlenecking project in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, its group production reached 70,000 barrels of oil per day (boepd) on the 19 November and has since been sustained above that level.

Norway: Equinor's 6407/11-1 well near the Njord field to be P&A'd as a dry hole
Equinor, operator of PL 751, is in the process of concluding the drilling of wildcat well 6407/11-1. The well, which was drilled about 15 kms southeast of the Njord field in the Norwegian Sea, will be permanently plugged and abandoned as a dry hole.

US: Marathon Oil reports successful Bakken core extension test in Ajax area
Marathon Oil has announced encouraging early production results at an important four-well Middle Bakken pad in the Company's Ajax area of the Williston Basin in Dunn County, North Dakota. The four-well pad achieved an estimated average 30-day initial production (IP) rate of over 2,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) (84% oil).
