16 Dec 19	SOCAR Petrofac JV secures project management services contract with BP Petrofac, in a joint venture with the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has secured a Project Management Services contract to support BP’s operations in Azerbaijan and Georgia. The three-year contract will support both onshore and offshore activity for BP operated projects in the Caspian Sea area.
16 Dec 19	Australia: Triangle Energy returns CH-13 well to production at the Cliff Head oil field Triangle Energy has returned the CH-13 well to production at the Cliff Head oil field in the Perth Basin. The steady-state production rate for the field is currently 970 bopd with the CH-13 well producing 150 bopd. Field total production will be optimised over the coming month and is expected to exceed 1000 bopd.

16 Dec 19	Mauritania/Senegal: BP drilling campaign confirms potential of gas resources offshore Mauritania and Senegal BP has announced that its recent three-well drilling campaign offshore Mauritania and Senegal has further confirmed the world-class scale of the gas resource in the region. Three appraisal wells drilled this year, GTA-1, Yakaar-2 and Orca-1, targeted a total of nine hydrocarbon-bearing zones. The wells encountered gas in high quality reservoirs in all nine zones.

The framework agreements cover operation of all the company’s installations on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) and onshore plants in Norway. They may also be used by the company’s international activities and for new development projects.

Located next to legacy oil-producing Block B, the licenses are considered highly prospective acreage.
16 Dec 19	Peru: PetroTal completes second horizontal well and achieves new record production at Bretana oil field PetroTal has successfully completed the 5H well, the Company's second horizontal well in the Bretana oil field. The Bretana oil field reached new record production of over 9,000 BOPD, currently with just two of the six wells online.
16 Dec 19	Australia: Oilex announces extension for acquisition of Cooper-Eromanga licences from Senex Energy Oilex has announced that the date for the satisfaction of the conditions precedent in regard to the acquisition of 27 Petroleum Retention Licenses (PRLs) in the Cooper-Eromanga Basins from Senex Energy and certain of its related entities has been extended by two months to 29 February 2019.
16 Dec 19	Shell signs innovative USD 10 billion revolving credit facility Royal Dutch Shell has signed a USD10 billion revolving credit facility. The new facility replaces Shell’s existing USD8.84 billion revolving credit facility and is provided by a syndicate of 25 banks.
16 Dec 19	Australia: Beach Energy announces succesful flow test at the Beharra Springs Deep-1 well in the Perth Basin Beach Energy has completed flow testing at the Beharra Springs Deep-1 gas discovery in licence L11 in the Perth Basin. The flow testing demonstrates similar well productivity characteristics to the Waitsia-3 and Waitsia-4 wells. The well is expected to be tied into the existing Beharra Springs gas facility by the end of 2020.
15 Dec 19	Norway: Johan Castberg partners ditch plans for ship-to-ship oil transfer terminal for oil export The Johan Castberg partners, consisting of Equinor, Var Energi and Petoro, have studied a possible development of a downscaled ship-to-ship oil transfer terminal at Veidnes in Finnmark county in North Norway, and have concluded that the costs of constructing a terminal will be too high.
15 Dec 19	GoM: W&T Offshore announces acquisition of oil-weighted producing property in the Gulf of Mexico W&T Offshore has completed an oil-weighted producing property acquisition from ConocoPhillips which is comprised of a 75 percent working interest in and operatorship of the Magnolia field in the central region of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, offshore Louisiana, at Garden Banks Blocks 783 and 784 for USD 20.0 million.

15 Dec 19	Norway: DNO makes minor oil and gas discovery near the Heidrun field in the Norwegian Sea - 6507/7-16 S DNO is in the process of concluding the drilling of wildcat well 6507/7-16 S in PL 888. The well, drilled drilled about 4 kms west of the Heidrun field, encountered a total gas column of 52 metres with an underling 4 metre thick oil column.
15 Dec 19	UK: Discoveries in the Southern North Sea bring encouraging results for Spirit Energy Spirit Energy will become the Operator of a new Southern North Sea discovery after an encouraging exploration campaign. The Ossian-Darach exploration well encountered hydrocarbons, in license P2133, and was plugged and abandoned during August 2019.
15 Dec 19	Norway: PGS announces availability of first data on Trondelag Platform and Draugen Fast track seismic data is now available from the Draugen survey. The first data from the TGS Trondelag Platform project will be ready for viewing in early January. Both surveys were acquired by PGS in summer 2019. The Trondelag Platform and Draugen surveys cover a 10,500 sq km area of the Norwegian Sea that is underexplored.

13 Dec 19	UK: Hibiscus Petroleum completes acquisition of the Crown discovery in the North Sea Hibiscus Petroleum has announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Anasuria Hibiscus UK has completed the acquisition of North Sea Blocks 15/18d and 15/19b from United Oil & Gas and Swift Exploration for a total cash consideration of up to USD5 million.
13 Dec 19	Indonesia: Interra Resources announces positive results at the Kuala Pambuang exploration well KP-1 Interra Resources has announced the drilling and testing results of the Company's first well in the Kuala Pambuang block onshore southern Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Drilling and testing results are positive and KP-1 will undergo completion by installing casing and performing testing by casing perforation over the potential reservoirs.

In addition, a separate agreement has been signed with OMV, which applies to up to 3 option wells for OMV in other Norwegian Sea areas.
12 Dec 19	GoM: Total moves forward on two deepwater projects in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico Total has announced the final investment decision (FID) to develop the Anchor oil field. Additionally, front-end engineering and design (FEED) has begun for the North Platte discovery. Both projects are located in the deepwater U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
12 Dec 19	US: BLM Wyoming leases 123 oil and gas parcels in December sale - nets USD10.8 million The Bureau of Land Management Wyoming raised USD10.8 million in its Dec. 10-11, 2019, quarterly oil and gas lease sale, facilitating economic opportunities and infrastructure investment in local communities. The BLM received bids on 123 parcels totaling about 123,258 acres.
