Schlumberger and OMV announce enterprise deployment of AI and digital solutions
Schlumberger and OMV Upstream have announced an enterprise-wide deployment of AI and digital solutions enabled by the cloud-based DELFI cognitive E&P environment, across OMV’s global operations. The five-year agreement will see the two companies collaborate to enhance efficiencies across OMV’s operations and position the company as a digital front-runner in the energy industry.

Energean has completed its acquisition of Edison Exploration & Production from Edison. The gross consideration for the transaction, as at the locked box date of 1 January 2019, is $284 million and the final net consideration (net of cash acquired), as of today, is $203million.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has announced that Landmark and Kadme are the proposed winners of the contracts for Diskos 2.0. The procurement consists of two contracts - a database for subsurface data, awarded to Landmark, and a trade solution (data swap/geodata trading, managed by Norwegian Oil and Gas), awarded to Kadme.
