Under this strategic partnership, PetroReconcavo has mobilised a drilling rig to commence drilling by the end of April. This allows Seacrest Petroleo to accelerate the restart of its 300-well infill drilling program, the largest onshore Brazil, leveraging the track-record of the most experienced onshore drilling capability in Brazil.

The projects involved surveying in excess of 20,000 line-kms of analogue and either single or multi-channel seismic in lease blocks and cable routes along the coasts of New York and New Jersey.
05 Apr 24	Borr Drilling announces contracting update Borr Drilling has received a notice of temporary suspension of operations for its rig 'Arabia I', operating in Saudi Arabia. The temporary suspension will be for a period of up to 12 months, and is expected to commence in the second quarter. 04 Apr 24	DeepOcean awarded frame agreement for subsea infrastructure and cable repair by Equinor Equinor has awarded ocean services provider DeepOcean a frame agreement for marine services covering subsea intervention and repair contingency for subsea pipelines, structures and high voltage cables for both offshore renewables and oil and gas fields. The agreement is valid for four years, with options to extend it for up to four more years. Geographically the agreement is valid for work on the Norwegian continental shelf and internationally.
04 Apr 24	Cote d'Ivoire: President Mattarella visits Eni's projects in Côte d'Ivoire Eni today (April 4) welcomed the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella at its facilities in Abidjan. The meeting comes as part of President Mattarella's first State visit to Côte d'Ivoire. The President visited a gas transportation facility along the road to Grand Bassam. Gas produced from the Baleine field is fed into the Ivorian energy grid, powering electricity generation in the country.
04 Apr 24	US: Chevron invests in carbon capture and removal technology company, ION Clean Energy Chevron New Energies (CNE), a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc., has announced a lead investment in ION Clean Energy, a Boulder-based technology company that provides post-combustion point-source capture technology through its third-generation ICE-31 liquid amine system. ION raised $45 million in Series A financing led by CNE.
