Australia: Mosman Oil and Gas provides helium and hydrogen exploration update at EP 145
Mosman Oil and Gas, the hydrocarbon, helium and hydrogen exploration, development, and production company, has provided a project update on its Australian project EP 145. Mosman has published a Prospective Resources estimate of 440 total gas including 26 bcf of helium and 26 bcf hydrogen.

GoM: Diamond Offshore announces contract extension for the Ocean BlackHornet
Diamond Offshore Drilling has executed a two-year contract extension with a subsidiary of bp in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico for the Ocean BlackHornet, commencing in February 2025 in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract. This contract extension represents approx. $350 million dollars of additional backlog.

Bahrain: TotalEnergies and Bapco Energies join forces in petroleum products trading
At a meeting in Bahrain, the foundations were laid for cooperation between TotalEnergies and Bapco Energies, under which TotalEnergies will support Bapco Energies in optimizing its Sitra refinery, which is currently being upgraded, and in trading of its petroleum products. TotalEnergies will bring its global oil and feedstock supply capacity, as well as its refining and trading expertise.

Trinidad: Touchstone announces expanded bank debt and drilling update
Touchstone Exploration has provided updates on its bank debt and drilling operations. The Company has entered into a binding term sheet with its existing Trinidad-based lender providing for an increase in borrowing capacity of $13 million. Touchstone has commenced drilling the Cascadura-3 development well and the CO-374 development well, and the Cascadura-2 well has been successfully cased after encountering wellbore instability issues.

UK: RWE and Masdar join forces to develop 3 gigawatts of offshore wind projects off the UK coast
RWE and Masdar, the UAE’s clean energy powerhouse, have successfully closed their transaction announced at COP28 in Dubai last December, with Masdar now holding a 49% stake in the UK Dogger Bank South projects. The partners will now jointly forge ahead with the delivery of these flagship projects. RWE, with a 51% stake, will lead development, construction and operation throughout the life cycle of the projects.

Trinidad: Touchstone Exploration announces 2023 Y/E reserves
Touchstone Exploration has announced 2023 year-end reserves. Relative to year-end 2022 and after 2023 production, Touchstone increased gross proved developed producing (PDP) reserves by 180 percent to 13,547 Mboe. PDP reserves replaced 2023 annual production by 699 percent, reflecting Cascadura-1ST1 and Cascadura Deep-1 natural gas and associated liquids volumes that were brought online in 2023.
