Argentina: ExxonMobil proceeds with Argentina expansion project in Vaca Muerta Basin
ExxonMobil is proceeding with a long-term oil development in Argentina’s Bajo del Choique-La Invernada block. The project is expected to produce up to 55,000 oil-equivalent barrels per day within five years and will include 90 wells, a central production facility and export infrastructure connected to the Oldeval pipeline and refineries.

Norway: PGNiG acquires interest in King Lear field from Total
PGNiG Upstream Norway will acquire 22.2 percent of shares in the King Lear field – PL146 and PL333 licenses – from Total E&P Norge. The volume of production in the part attributable to PGNiG may reach 0.25 bcm of natural gas annually. The production start is planned for 2025.

Shell, along with its Joint Venture Partners INPEX, KOGAS and OPIC, has announced that the first shipment of Liquefied Natural Gas has sailed from Shell’s Prelude Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility located 475kms North East of Broome in Western Australia. This shipment will be delivered by the Valencia Knutsen to customers in Asia.
