Israel: Karish pipe laying and subsea systems installation completed
Energean has announced the completion of a key milestone in the Karish and Tanin Development project, offshore Israel. TechnipFMC, has successfully completed on time the laying of the Gas Sales Pipeline and the main deep water installations of the subsea production systems. The overall physical progress of the Karish Development project now stands at c. 80% complete.

Dril-Quip and Proserv Group announce strategic agreement
Dril-Quip and Proserv Group have announced an agreement pursuant to which Dril-Quip will rely upon Proserv for the development and manufacturing of its subsea control systems as a supplier. The mutually beneficial arrangement allows Dril-Quip to continue to support its existing subsea controls customers with the support of Proserv.

UK: Brent Alpha platform arrives in Able Seaton Port for dismantling
Able UK has transported the 17,000 tonne Brent Alpha platform from northeast of the Shetland Islands to Able Seaton Port on Teesside in preparation for its dismantling and recycling. The Brent Alpha is the third platform from the Shell Brent field to be decommissioned at Able Seaton Port.

Norway: Aker Solutions awarded letter of intent for Breidablikk
Aker Solutions has been awarded a letter of intent from Equinor for the delivery of a subsea system for the Breidablikk project in the North Sea. Breidablikk is a large oil discovery on the Norwegian Continental Shelf located north-east of the Grane field in the North Sea, which will be developed as a subsea field with a tie-back to the Grane platform.

Norway: Aker BP submits plan for development and operation for Hod
Aker BP and Pandion Energy have submitted the plan for development and operation (PDO) for Hod to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. The Hod field will be developed in collaboration with Aker BP’s alliance partners with a normally unmanned installation remotely controlled from the Valhall field centre, with very low CO2 emissions due to power from shore.

United Oil & Gas has provided an update on the Abu Sennan concession in Egypt in which UOG holds a 22% working interest. This includes a production update covering the first half of June and the results of an Independent Reserves Report which estimates gross 2P reserves at Abu Sennan increased to 13.5 MMboe from 12 MMboe over the course of 2019 following drilling success.

Norway: LOC Norway awarded new scope of work on Johan Sverdrup field by Equinor
LOC Group has been awarded a new scope of work with Equinor. LOC will provide Marine Warranty Surveyor ('MWS') services for the SURF ('subsea umbilical, risers and flowlines') development on the Johan Sverdrup oil field in the North Sea. The scope of work is for part of the Phase 2 development of the field.

Senegal: Woodside confirms Sangomar on track for first oil in 2023
Woodside notes recent media reports stating that Senegal has been forced to delay its first oil and gas projects by up to two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Woodside reiterates that first oil from the Sangomar Field Development Phase 1 remains on track for 2023, in line with previous guidance.

UAE: Fugro completes Middle East’s first uncrewed geophysical route survey
In response to increasing demand for remote offshore services, Fugro has completed the Middle East’s first fully autonomous geophysical shallow-water route survey. Controlled from their remote operations centre in Abu Dhabi, an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) captured a full range of geophysical data across a survey area some 40 km out from the coast of Abu Dhabi.
