The T100 well has demonstrated encouraging results following a multi-stage hydraulic fracture stimulation targeting the Abu-Roash 'F' ('ARF') tight carbonate reservoir in the Badr Oil Field ('BED-1') in the Western Desert of Egypt.

Saipem has been awarded a new offshore contract by Azule Energy Angola, subsidiary of Azule Energy Holding, an incorporated joint venture between Eni and bp, for the development of the Ndungu Field as part of Agogo Integrated West Hub Project, located approx. 180 km off the coast of Angola. The value of the contract is around 850 million USD.

Danish-based Wind Power LAB (WPL) have launched an innovative lightning surveillance tool tailored to combat strike damages to wind farms through early detection of potential risk. The new Lightning Analysis Service, known as LASSIE, offers major cost savings in excess of 40% because repairs are identified earlier than expected, through the use of the technology-based monitoring tool.

Qatar: Seadrill enters agreement to sell its Qatar Jack-Up Fleet and expands share repurchase program
Seadrill has entered into a definitive agreement to sell three jack-up rigs - the West Castor, the West Telesto and the West Tucana (the 'Qatar Jack-Up Fleet') - and its 50% equity interest in the joint venture that operates these rigs offshore Qatar to Seadrill’s joint venture partner Gulf Drilling International for cash proceeds of $338 million.

CGG changes name to Viridien
At the Annual General Meeting on May 15, 2024, shareholders approved the resolution to change the company’s corporate name from CGG to Viridien. Suriname: PETRONAS makes latest oil and gas discovery in Suriname's offshore Block 52
PETRONAS has made a third hydrocarbon discovery in Block 52 at the Fusaea-1 exploration well in Suriname’s Block 52, located about 170 kms offshore and 9 kms east from Roystonea-1. The well encountered several oil and gas-bearing Campanian sandstone reservoir packages.
