Canada: TGS and PGS announce Cape Anguille 3D Survey offshore East Canada
TGS, in partnership with PGS, has commenced acquisition of the Cape Anguille 3D program. This program expands the TGS-PGS joint venture with an additional 10,000 sq kms of 3D coverage offshore Newfoundland. The survey covers existing lease blocks and open acreage in the prospective Orphan Basin.

UK: OGA’s 2020 UKCS Stewardship Survey shows positive UKCS performance despite a challenging 2020
The OGA’s 2020 UKCS Stewardship Survey closed on the 26th of February with 78 operators contributing to 9 industry themes and over 3,880 data sections. Data from the survey shows that performance in the UKCS has remained positive with some improvements from the previous year.

US: 88 Energy acquires interest in Project Peregrine
88 Energy has entered into an agreement with Alaska Peregrine Development Company that will facilitate continuation of the exploration program at Project Peregrine next winter. Under the agreement, 88 Energy will acquire a 50% working interest from Alaska Peregrine Development Company in Project Peregrine.

Russia: NOVATEK and Gazprom Neft create JV to develop the North-Vrangelevskiy license area
NOVATEK and Gazprom Neft have concluded a transaction on NOVATEK’s acquisition of a 49% participation interest in Gazpromneft Sakhalin owning a geological survey, exploration and production license for the North-Vrangelevskiy license area, located in the eastern part of the East Siberian Sea and the western part of the Chukchi Sea.

US: Tellurian and Vitol sign 10-year LNG agreement for 3 mtpa
Tellurian has finalized a liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Vitol. The SPA is for three million tonnes per annum (mtpa) on a free on board (FOB) basis at Driftwood LNG for a ten-year period. At today’s prices, the agreement is valued at approx. $12 billion in revenue over ten years.

In Cameroon, the Company has received US$5.1 million gross funds from Eneo in line with the final settlement agreement of 16 April 2021. Norway: OKEA to develop the Hasselmus gas discovery
Draugen operator OKEA and partners Petoro and Neptune Energy Norge have made the decision to develop the Hasselmus gas discovery. Hasselmus will be the first tie-back to the Draugen production platform and will add in excess of 4,000 barrels of oil equivalents per day to the production.
