US: Zephyr Energy provides operations update
Zephyr Energy, the Rocky Mountain oil and gas company, has provided an update on operations. Zephyr reports that operations on the State 36-2 LNW-CC-R well in the Paradox Basin, Utah continue to progress in line with expectations and, in the Williston Basin, North Dakota, U.S., hydrocarbon production in Q1 2024 was in line with management's expectations.

Spain: Cepsa selects thyssenkrupp nucera as preferred supplier of a 300-MW electrolyzer for a green hydrogen plant in Spain
Cepsa has selected thyssenkrupp nucera as a preferred supplier of the Cepsa-led Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley in southern Spain, one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe. The first phase of the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley entails a green hydrogen production plant at Cepsa’s La Rábida Energy Park in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva) as part of their partnership with Fertiberia.

Cepsa has selected Siemens Energy, one of the world’s leading energy technology companies, for the supply of 100 megawatts (MW) of Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysis technology for green hydrogen production at its La Rábida Energy Park in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva), southern Spain.

US: Worley to provide design and evaluation services for Bayou Bend CCS LLC's carbon capture and storage facility
Bayou Bend CCS LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron, Equinor, and TotalEnergies to develop a carbon capture and storage facility in Southeast Texas. The project has the potential to reduce emissions from regional industrial facilities by sequestering CO2 safely and permanently underground. It includes a CO2 storage footprint of nearly 140,000 acres of pore space.
