Norway: AkerBP starts production at Hanz in the North Sea
Aker BP has announced that production has started from Hanz in the North Sea. Hanz is operated by Aker BP, with Equinor and Sval Energy as partners. Hanz is a subsea field development tied into the Ivar Aasen platform about 15 kms further south.

Namibia: Galp provides update on Namibia exploration
Galp (80%, operator), together with its partners NAMCOR and Custos, has successfully completed the first phase of the Mopane exploration campaign with the conclusion of the Mopane-1X Well Testing operations. In the Mopane complex alone and, before drilling additional exploration and appraisal wells, hydrocarbon in-place estimates are 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent, or higher.

MISC has entered into Time Charter Party Contracts (TCP) with PETCO Trading Labuan Company Ltd (PTLCL) via its petroleum arm, AET for the world’s first two ammonia dual-fuel Aframaxes. Through these vessels, PTLCL will be able to transport its products to customers around the world while contributing to the industry decarbonisation by utilising ammonia as the cleaner alternative to conventional fuel.
